What is the Distributive Property? – Chapter 2

Distributive Property:

According to distributive Property , multiplyling the sum of two or more addends by a number will give the same result as multiplying each addends individually and then add up together.

For Example:

(5 +7+3) x 4 = (5 + 7+ 3) x 4

15 x 4 = 5 x 4 + 7 x 4 + 3 x 4

= 20 + 28 + 12

60 = 60
